Ricieri Luvizoto with the BOTT M210

Ricieri Luvizotto, first race with the BOTT M212 in Spain.

In Albacete we had an exciting and funny race weekend. As we mentioned in our previous post, our rider Ricieri Luvizotto arrived to this race without knowing the track and without any experience riding a Moto2 bike. In the CEV (Spanish Championship) the level is very high, so this race was a serious challenge for him. On Friday on the first practice we were lapping in 1:40. On saturday on the first qualify Ricieri la

The BOTT M212 returns to the CEV with Ricieri Luvizotto.

This weekend we are in Albacete racing the penultimate CEV (Spanish Championship) Moto2 race of current season, with young (19 years) Brazilian rider Ricieri Luvizotto, riding our BOTT M212. This season Ricieri has been racing the CBR 600 F cup in Brazil with a spectacular resoult. He won the championship, winning all the races and taking all the pole positions. Here in Spain the resoults will be quite different for

BOTT M211 back on the track.

We had some time without talking about our Moto2 project. The bike didn’t test or race since April. During this time we continued working on it, mainly on the engine and with the mapping. As we already commented, we tested several exhausts on the dyno and finally we are using an Arrow one. We are going to race the 2 last CEV rounds of the season, in Valencia (13th of November) and Jerez (20th of November). For

CEV project with Almassora and Gallardo cancelled.

A brief post just to comment that the project that we arranged to race the CEV with Almassora team and rider Antonio Gallardo has been cancelled, so we won’t keep racing together this season. For this reason we won’t be racing this weekend in the second CEV race in Motorland’s circuit. Bottpower wants to thank Antonio Gallardo and Almassora team for their help during the first race of the season in

Jerez, first race of 2011 CEV.

We arrived to Jerez with very few kilometers of pre-season (just one test), but also with a strong desire to achieve a good resoult. The bike had a new bodywork painting that make it look more agressive. In Friday F1 and F2 trainings we already saw that we were quite far from the head laptimes, although Antonio Gallardo was improving his lap times everytime he was on the tarmac. On friday our best time was 1:48,9. Sa

First test of 2011 CEV season.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday (5th and 6th of April) we were testing in Jerez. It was our first test of the 2011 season, and the first time that Antonio Gallardo (our new rider) tested the BOTT M210. Most of the CEV Moto2 teams were also testing in Jerez, and also some of the fastest Moto2 riders in the World Championship, like Marc Marquez or Andrea Ianone. It’s always good to share the track with those guys. Tue

2011 Moto2 Bottpower project.

As you know last year we raced the 2 last events of the Spanish Championship (CEV). Once the season was finished we started working to find the way to race the whole 2011 CEV season. The task was not easy because with current crisis it is very difficult to find the necessary budget to race a whole Moto2 season. Finally we arranged everything, and we will race with Almassora Competicion team, with Antonio Gallardo as

BOTT M210, new photos.

The bike is almost finished, we only need the final bodywork, it will take some weeks to be ready. Meanwhile, here you have two photos that show the current aspect of the bike. If we compare with the photos that we published 3 months ago, we will see that there are many differences: we added the brakes, exhaust, electrical wiring, the airbox intake, display, chain, telemetry sensors, fueltank cover (this is already p

The BOTT M210 is on the track!

Finally! Today the BOTT M210 lapped for the first time at Cheste (Valencia, Spain) circuit, with Alex Martinez at the controls. This first test was made with the sole intention of riding a few laps to make sure everything was OK and that the bike had no problems. In fact we went to the circuit without timers, without pitboard, and the intention of not working in the bike setup, not even adjust one click of the suspen

Details (II).

When designing the BOTT M210, we have tried to use solutions that facilitate the work of the mechanics. The most important aspect of a race bike is beeing fast on the track, but it is also very important that the mechanics can work on the bike quickly and safely. Good race bikes are full of small details that can greatly facilitate the work inside of the box. In that sense I feel very fortunate to work closely with J
